Special Event: Last Standing

The Last Standing special event is related to the Winning Streak special event.

Each week, you tip one team as your Winning Streak. Your Winning Streak tip is also your tip into the Last Standing special event. If your Winning Streak team wins, you advance to the next week of the Last Standing special event. If your Winning Streak team draws or looses, then you are eliminated.

The winner is the last tipster to be eliminated. If the last two or more tipsters are eliminated in the same week, the tipster with the current highest Winning Steak points is the winner.

The Last Standing special event begins in the week commencing Round 5, and continues throughout the Home & Away Premiership Season, and the Finals, until a winner eventuates.

Strategy

• As your Winning Streak team, you need to find a balance between the team with the best points ratio for the Winning Streak special event, and the team most likely to win their game for the Last Standing special event.
• If you are still in the Last Standing special event, you may find that you want to pick the safest team as your Winning Streak, thus harming your ability to win the Winning Streak special event, but maximising your chances of winning the Last Standing special event.
• Alternatively, you may tip a team with a good points ratio, and try to win both the Winning Streak special event, and the Last Standing special event.
• Once you are eliminated from the Last Standing special event, you should concentrate on winning the Winning Streak special event.
